You’ve considered doing it all on your own, but as soon as you set up your camera, try to take your own photos or capture an event while you’re actually hosting it, you realise it’s not as simple as it looks. The photos don’t quite capture your personality, your work, or the energy you’ve worked so hard to create. You’re either behind the camera instead of in the moment, or trying to do everything at once and the photos become an afterthought.

And if you’ve never felt comfortable being in front of the camera, it can make the whole process feel even harder. Especially if you’ve never loved being the centre of attention, the idea of posing or “performing” just doesn’t feel like you. You want to be present, connect with the people around you and trust that the moments that matter are being captured naturally.

Hi, I’m Kaya

I’m a photographer for communities, founders, and individuals who want strong imagery that feels natural, intentional, and true to them. Whether I’m documenting the energy of an event, capturing a personal brand or creating portraits, my approach is always people-focused. I’m drawn to the real moments, natural interactions, and little details that tell a story, creating images that not only look good, but genuinely feel like you.

As a teenager, I first discovered photography while studying it at A- Level, which is also where I met my now fiancé. Even though I went on to study Business Management at university, photography was always something I came back to, something that stayed with me.

After university, my partner suggested we buy cameras and start shooting again, and that’s really where everything began. I explored different styles at first, but I quickly realised that what I loved most was photographing people. The natural expressions, connections, and moments that often go unnoticed were always the images that felt the most real to me and that’s still at the heart of how I photograph today.

more than just photos…

Over time, that love for photographing people grew into something bigger. I started creating spaces for photographers and creatives to come together, connect, and create without pressure. Through Moments in Motion Club, I host photowalks and creative sessions designed to help people build confidence, find their style, and feel part of a supportive community.

Building Moments in Motion Club has shown me just how important genuine connection and community can be, and that same understanding carries into every shoot I do.

Today, my work is about more than simply taking photos. It’s about understanding the people in front of my camera, noticing the interactions and details that make something feel special, and capturing them in a way that feels honest. Whether it’s a room full of people coming together or one person sharing their story, helping people feel seen and creating images they can genuinely connect with is what makes this so special to me.

Authenticity. 

This is at the centre of my work. I focus on capturing you as you are. My photography style is rooted in creating something that feels natural, comfortable, and true to you.

Connection.

People are at the heart of my work. Whether it’s one person in front of the camera or a room full of people, I’m always looking for the genuine interactions and moments that bring an image to life.

Quality.

From planning the shoot to delivering the final gallery, everything is approached with care and attention to detail. I want you to receive a collection of images that feels considered, consistent and made to last.

Storytelling.

The little moments often tell the biggest story. I pay attention to the expressions, interactions, atmosphere and details that might otherwise go unnoticed, bringing them together to tell the story as it really felt.
